ALOO HALWA RECIPE | HALWA RECIPE | POTATO HALWA RECIPE
Aloo Halwa Recipe is a well-liked and scrumptious dessert from North India specifically in Uttar Pradesh. It is the simplest and quickest halwa I’ve ever made. It might be eaten throughout fasting or as vrat ka khana/falahaar.
- 400 grams Potatoes / Aloo boiled, Three medium *
- 1 cup Sugar / Chini or 3/Four cup **
- 5 tbsp Clarified Butter / Desi Ghee
- half of tsp Cardamom Powder / Elaichi Powder
- 1 tbsp Water / Paani
- 10 Almonds / Badam
- 10 Pistachio / Pista
How to make Aloo Halwa Recipe
- Peel and mash the boiled potatoes.
- Heat ghee in a heavy backside pan or use a non stick pan.
- Now add the mashed potato and saute on medium warmth.
- Keep stirring the halwa else it would begin charring and sticking on the backside.
- After roughly 10 minutes it would change color and switch mild golden and begin giving out a pleasant aroma.
- Add sugar and water and preserve stirring until it begins leaving the perimeters of the pan .
- Now add some amount of cardamom powder and chopped almonds and pistachios.
- Mix effectively and serve scorching.
- You can even make this halwa with boiled candy potato/shakarkand.
- Then it’s important to use rather less amount of sugar.
- You can alter the amount of sugar-based on your style.
